Design Stage 3: Technology "proof-of-concepts" were done to show the promise of interconnected components. These POCs provided a demonstration for the extended engineering and marketing teams to experience the way these new interactions could be done - some of it with existing hardware and no added costs.

The basic concept was to network all of the equipment with Wi-Fi and then pass minimal identification information over the analog lines. Together these bits of information would allow a system to be mapped - and as a result - configured automatically.
