Inputs and outputs are flexible and simple to set up. Advanced users can achieve very complex setups if needed through the design goal of allowing any input or output to be provisioned to be used for either a physical input (represented on the back panel of the hardware) or virtual for inputs such as VoIP or AES67 networked channels.
